“Our Community in 3D (Diversity, Demographics and Demand)” will be presented on Friday, May 2 by the Association of Fundraising Professionals
Oregon & Southwest Washington Chapter (“AFP”). Doors open at 11 a.m. Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the program from noon to 1:15
p.m. The event will be held at the University Club, 1225 SW Sixth Avenue, Portland, OR 97204.

Speakers at AFP’s monthly program luncheon will discuss how critical it is to distribute funds equitably, why it is necessary for businesses to have a diverse workforce, the economic and growth benefits of diversity to our community and diversity issues in the legal industry.

The program will feature experts on diversity issues including Rekah Strong, Vice-President, Organizational Development/Culture, United Way of the Columbia-Willamette; Gerald Deloney, Co-Chair, The Coalition of Communities of Color; and Sarah Aujero, Portland attorney and business consultant specializing in entertainment and media law, music clearances and licensing for all media.

The cost for the event is $35 for AFP members and $50 for nonmembers. Tables of 8 are available for $350. Pre-registration is required. Online
