Networking at 8:00
Presentation at 8:30
You know that you are supposed to engage volunteers as part of running a successful program– so how do you go about doing it? In this workshop, we will take a systematic look at managing a volunteer program and individual volunteers from start to finish. Using a framework that you can apply in your own organization and examples of successful volunteer programs, we will cover program design, recruitment, placement, training, supervision, recognition, and risk management. Be ready for 90 minutes packed full of ideas that you can use.
About the Presenter
