About this event
This training is a free, day-long training (9am to 4pm) on preventing child sexual abuse in youth programs. All youth-serving organizations are
encouraged to attend. The training will explore the tools programs possess to decide if a volunteer should be allowed to work with children. Oregon Mentors will lead this training to help youth programs strengthen their screening practices and commit to child safety.
Lunch will be provided. RSVP right away, as space is limited. One person per organization, please. Due to the nature of the discussion, we recommend that the staff member attending the training is at management-level.
