This session, for both skilled nonprofit practitioners and those newer to fund development, will provide a thorough overview of the elements of a balanced fund development plan, including:

  • Donor cultivation, acknowledgement, and retention
  • Major gift campaigns
  • Planned giving programs
  • Online giving opportunities
  • Corporate grants and sponsorships
  • Special events

You will learn how to maximize the results from each component of your fundraising plan and put your organization on the road to financial sustainability.

About the Presenter

For over 20 years, Dianne Alves has worked with a wide range of nonprofit organizations, including environmental, housing, mental health and health care, social services, and higher education.

Dianne is a recognized expert in her field and a frequent presenter for both nonprofit organizations and professional development associations. Dianne currently serves on the Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Oregon and SW Washington and on several fund development committees. Her past nonprofit Board and fund development committee experience includes the Peninsula Children’s Center, Proud Ground, Schoolhouse Supplies, Oregon Wild, McKenzie River Gathering Foundation, and Oregon NARAL.

Each session of the Rogue Valley Nonprofit Training Series is designed to strengthen your development and leadership skills while providing field-tested concepts and tools to take back to your organization for implementation. In addition to skills development and meeting with the experts, each session allows for networking and peer coaching in a collaborative learning environment.

Full season pass holders save up to $40 off of the individual session registration fees; development season pass holders save up to $20 off of the individual session fees.
