Comedian, writer and Portland native Megan Amram gained fame in 2010 via the
unique brand of absurdisms, one liners and dark wit on her Twitter feed.
She’s currently channeling that humor on television as a staff writer for
Parks and Recreation and in her first book, Science: For Her!
Hari Kondabolu
Want to feel a little uncomfortable, but in a good way? The NYTimes has
called Hari Kondabolu, who has no qualms delving into racial issues in his
sets, “one of the most exciting political comics in stand-up today.” He’s
appeared onLetterman, Conan, Jimmy Kimmel and every podcast that has ever
existed.
Cristin O’Keefe Aptowicz
A NYTimes bestselling author and poet, Cristin brings us her seventh book,
Dr. Mutter’s Marvels, the first-ever biography of Dr. Thomas Dent Mutter, the
flamboyant father of modern medicine who was known as “the P.T. Barnum of the
operating room.”

Deep Sea Diver
Singer and multi instrumentalist Jessica Dobson formed Deep Sea Diver while
playing guitar for bands like The Shins, Beck and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Deep
Sea Divers latest EP entitled Always Waiting has been called “as kinetic as
it is well-crafted” by KEXP.
Alialujah Choir
Made up of members of some of the Northwest’s most notable bands (Weinland,
Norfolk & Western and M. Ward), the Alialujah Choir’s music features sparse
arrangements and gorgeous two, three and four-part harmonies that will haunt
your dreams, but not in a Freddie Krueger sense. Way better than that.

Burbank (Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, This American Life, CBS This Morning),
the show airs weekly on OPB, Saturday’s at 9pm, on stations around the
country and even internationally (ok that one Hospital in London). You can
