The Great Resignation created a compelling call-to-action for social sector leaders, with a potential to see a way forward for coming out stronger. While millions of workers left their jobs, and for nonprofits that often means losing people to for-profit companies, Forbes offers an “empowerment framework” to guide social sector decision-making. Applying this concept to nonprofits’ work, the framework urges nonprofits to believe in the people they serve, seeing them as the source of the solution to the problems they face and empowering them to overcome those challenges from the bottom up.
