The Nonprofit Board Network (NBN) offers regular learning and peer-networking opportunities for nonprofit board members and executive directors in a relaxed atmosphere. A well-functioning Board of Directors is essential for nonprofit organizations not only to meet legal requirements, but also to successfully achieve their goals. Every nonprofit Board is responsible for creating a structure, policies, and procedures that support good governance. NAO’s Nonprofit Board Network offers regular opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere for you to learn about nonprofit governance, network with Board members from other organizations, and meet the experts. The Nonprofit Board Network gives you a chance to interact with respected thinkers and practitioners in the nonprofit world and to share information and experience. 

Who it is for:
This series is serves board members and officers of charitable nonprofits. CEOs and EDs may also find it useful in learning more about proven practices and tools for effective nonprofit board governance.

When:
Generally, the sessions will be offered on the first Tuesday of the month. Sessions take place 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Informal networking begins at 4:30 p.m. with the presentation starting at 5:00 p.m - 6:30 p.m.
