Effective nonprofits, and indeed the effectiveness of the entire nonprofit sector, depends on capable and committed leaders. NAO believes that the development of high performing, confident leaders, who inspire action, are responsive, skilled, and forward looking is essential to the success of any nonprofit mission.
The Rogue Valley Nonprofit Network (RVNN) training series provides regular professional development opportunities, tangible tools and strategies, and a chance to connect with peers in a collaborative learning environment.
Although this series is designed for nonprofit leaders, it is open to anyone who wants to learn more about effective nonprofit leadership.

Principles & Practices
NAO has partnered with Independent Sector to disseminate the Principles for Good Governance & Ethical Practice as a means to provide sector-wide best practices to support self-regulation among actors in the charitable sector. Network sessions will draw on the 33 Principles and delve into specific principles if appropriate to the topic.
