Title
COVID-19: Ask the Experts – Maximizing Loan Forgiveness Under the Paycheck Protection Program

Subject Matter Experts
Lisa Fajardo Faust, Senior Vice President and Relationship Banking Team Leader, Pacific West Bank
Robert Countryman, Market President-Portland/Seattle, First Interstate Bank
Lesley Bennett, Senior Financial Consultant at CFO Selections

Many nonprofits who received loans under the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program are now dealing with how to best navigate the complexities of maximizing their loan forgiveness. In this session, lender and financial experts will discuss practical steps, processes, and documentation that nonprofits should follow to ensure the best outcomes for their organizations. Lisa Fajardo Faust, Senior Vice President and Relationship Banking Team Leader of Pacific West Bank, and Robert Countryman, Market President-Portland/Seattle of First Interstate Bank, will provide guidance on the approach, processes and procedures that nonprofits should implement as they see it from their vantage point as professionals at lending institutions that transacted the PPP loans. Lesley Bennett, Senior Financial Consultant at CFO Selections, will provide her guidance on how best to implement these processes and procedures and ensure proper documentation. She’ll act as moderator of the session as well, and will ask questions of Lisa from the nonprofit viewpoint to help clarify and “de-complexify” for nonprofits the most effective approach to ensuring maximum PPP loan forgiveness.

Send your questions or comments on this topic ahead of the session to [email protected]

*Space is limited to 500 participants. Please note that a recording of this webinar will be made available on NAO's webinar page for later viewing.
