Affinity Groups

NAO facilitates affinity groups for nonprofit leaders in Oregon. These monthly sessions are collaborative spaces where individuals with shared identities or experiences come together to connect, support one another, and foster professional and personal growth. The groups focus on building a sense of belonging by providing a safe space for open dialogue, mutual learning, and shared advocacy. In the nonprofit sector, affinity groups serve as vital forums for leaders to exchange ideas, confront challenges related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), and co-create strategies to address systemic issues within their organizations and the broader community.
